Forest Lake 15, Sacramento Lutheran 5 at Lake of the Pines

In their first game in two years, the Falcons banged out 17 hits to win their season opener.

Forest Lake did not field a team in 2006 due to lack of interest, but Corbin Phillips went 3-for-5 with 5 RBIs and a pair of doubles and pitched four solid innings to get the win.

Matt Rose was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and Chase Fiore was 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a triple. Phillips struck out six and gave up two hits. By: Auburn Journal Sports Staff
