Join us in congratulating Corbin Phillips and Ali Robinson

They were selected by their peers as the schools 2007 Homecoming King and Queen. They were crowned by last years King and Queen Justin Boatman and Rachel Parker.

Ali plays varsity tennis and helps coach summer and fall leagues. Ali also sings with the Chamber Choir and plans to become involved with the children’s ministry at church. Her favorite verse is 1st Corinthians 10:13 which reads:

“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” (NIV)

Corbin Phillips plays varsity baseball and leads worship for chapel at FLCS. Corbin participates in leadership training and worship at church. His favorite verses are Romans 12:1-2 which reads:

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.” (NIV)
