Parents Encouraging Staff and Teachers
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,

You can be a part of the P.E.S.T. program and
be a blessing to a teacher or staff member at F.L.C.S. It’s easy! It works like a secret pal program, and the more you put into it, the more you’ll be blessed!
Parents select, or have selected for them, a staff person or teacher to pray for and to encourage throughout the school year. Once you have “adopted” your teacher or staff member (Pestee), a fact sheet will be sent to you detailing his/her prayer requests, special interests, etc. Then, during the school year you can cover your Pestee in prayer. You may also secretly bless your Pestee by sending words of encouragement, scripture, cookies, a flower from your garden, etc. Gifts are not necessary as the emphasis of this program is to pray, pray, pray for your Pestee.
To get started, please complete the information attached and return it in a sealed envelope labeled “P.E.S.T” to any school office. Remember, you are to remain anonymous during the school year, which makes the program even more exciting for you and your Pestee! You may choose to “reveal” yourself during Open House in May or be a well-kept secret.
