It is our pleasure to introduce to our school community the newest members of the Forest Lake Christian School teaching faculty. Joining our elementary staff are Mrs. Stacie Bagley and Mrs. Vicki Kopec. Mrs. Bagley will be teaching sixth grade this year. She is a graduate of California State University Stanilaus with a B.A. in Psychology and holds a teaching credential from the state of California. In recent years she has been actively involved in the women’s ministries department of Bayside Church leading Bible studies, serving on staff as the Director of Women’s Ministry Events, and teaching Sunday school.
Mrs. Kopec will be teaching fourth grade. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Previously, Mrs. Kopec taught third and fifth grade at Forest Lake Christian School. Most recently, Mrs. Kopec has been teaching private piano lessons, substituting for all grades level, and leading our annual ACSI elementary Speech Meets.
Joining our High School staff is Mr. David Lidbeck and Mr. Doug Parrott. Mr. Lidbeck is a graduate of Westmont College. He earned his B.A. in Liberal Studies with a double major in English and History. He received his California Multiple Subject Credential through the Westmont College Teacher Credential Program. He spent the last eight years teaching at Coastal Christian School in Arroyo Grande, California where he served as Social Studies Department Chairman. He will be teaching in our Bible and Social Studies departments.
Mr. Doug Parrott is a graduate of San Francisco State University earning his B.A. in the field of Psychology. He continued his education at Chapman University earning his single subject California Teaching Credential in Secondary English. His teaching experience includes a stint at Ponderosa High School and most recently he was teaching and counseling at Christian Encounter Ministries. He will be teaching in our English and Bible departments.
