How does a changed life impact the world?

Dr. Roy Lowrie is one of the founding fathers of the modern Christian Education movement in America. Along with Dr. Paul Kienel, he was in fact instrumental in forming the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). He is credited with coining the phrase “Changed Lives, Changing Lives”. Indeed this simple declaration could be considered the motto of Christian education. The idea behind this phrase is that the world will be impacted for Christ as one “changed life” is allowed to influence another.  Perhaps you have noticed that above the navigation bar on our home page we have three words scribed, Truth, Transformation, Testify.  When someone responds to the Truth of who Jesus Christ really is and they surrender their will to Him God begins to control that life; the individual is empowered to do God’s bidding. This is the Transformation we refer to.  Christ told his disciples that they would do greater deeds then He had done under the influence of the Holy Spirit. With literally millions of young people being educated in Christian schools today by teachers whose lives have been changed by Christ, the potential impact to our world is astronomical.  A Truth filled, Transformed life is well prepared to Testify to the hope that resides  in each of us. Dr. Lowrie referred to these Christian school educators, these change catalyses as ”Living Curriculum”; I love that idea.
