Cadet Chris Browne, son of Doug and Mary Browne of Chicago Park, graduates from the U.S. Military Academy on May 21.
Browne graduated from Forest Lake Christian High School in 2007. While at West Point, he continued his studies in engineering, philosophy and military studies.
He will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Armor branch and will report to Ft. Benning, Ga., for his first assignment.
The U.S. Military Academy is a four-year co-educational federal undergraduate liberal arts college located 50 miles north of New York City.
Founded in 1802 as America’s first college of engineering, it consistently ranks as one of the top colleges in the nation.
