Choosing the right school has become one of the most strategic decisions a parent can make. Education is not value neutral and every institution will work to shape the worldview of an impressionable child. It demands a quality choice. The mission of Forest Lake Christian School is to provide a biblically centered education where truth transforms mind and character, so that students are equipped to testify to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. Daily instruction from God's word, and dedicated Christian teachers provide a model of Christian excellence for students.

Forest Lake Christian School was founded in 1966 as an independent, evangelical Christian day school. We are a charter member of ACSI and welcome students of any race, color, gender, and national or ethnic origin

Forest Lake Christian School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a member of the the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is the longest running Christian school in the Northern California area.

For the third and final program of this school year we have invited the husband and wife team, Dale and Jonalyn Fincher. Dale and Jonalyn are cultural apologists whose ministry, “Soulation” is dedicated to providing sturdy, biblical answers designed to enable a believer to navigate their way through the maze of ideas concerning who God is and how He intends for us to live in this Postmodern world. Please spend some time on their website prior to them speaking at our parent educations night on Thursday May 8, 2008 @7:00pm. www.soulation.com. The Finchers will also be spending three days on campus with our high schoolers during the week of May 7-9, concluding our chapel program of the year.

Now is the time for re-registration at Forest Lake Christian School for the
2008 - 2009 School Year. Enrollment contracts and the fee schedule for next year have been mailed home to families who currently have students enrolled at FLCS. If you have not received your mailing call your respective school office.

If you are inquiring about registering at Forest Lake Christian School for the first time one of the first steps in that process is to schedule a date for an entrance exam. The entrance exam is required of all students beginning in fourth grade. Entrance exams are scheduled for February 12th and 26th and March 7th and 18th BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. If your child will be entering Kindergarten through the third grade, please call the elementary office to schedule an evaluation. Of course we welcome any questions you may have concerning admission to Forest Lake Christian School. The first day that new families may officially register is March the first.
