Meet Rich Powell

Rich Powell's journey through Forest Lake Christian School (FLCS) from 1991 to 1997 has not only woven him into the fabric of the school but also laid the foundation for his life. During his time at FLCS, Rich met his wife, Roseanne. Their connection blossomed during their high school years at FLCS, culminating in marriage in 2001. The school not only nurtured their education but also served as a platform for the formation of enduring relationships. Rich's pursuit of further education led him to Sierra College and UC Davis, where he completed his undergraduate studies. In 2004, he achieved a significant milestone by graduating from UCLA Dental School, a testament to his dedication and pursuit of excellence. After graduating, Rich took over his father’s dental practice where he provides essential dental care for our community. Roseanne also works in the practice, managing operations.

The Powell’s ties to FLCS run even deeper as their two children have attended since their preschool days. As they step into 2nd and 6th grades, the legacy of FLCS continues to shape their lives. Rich and Roseanne regularly volunteer at school, support school events, and are purposefully involved with the teachers and families who attend FLCS. They attend Twin Cities Church in Grass Valley, further underlining their sense of community and shared values.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rich enjoys spending time on the golf course. But the core of his heart lies his devotion to spending quality time with his family, cherishing each moment. His favorite Scripture passage is Matthew 6:25-34.

Rich’s life is a testament to the power of faith, education, and community. From his formative years at FLCS to his present role as a dedicated family man and accomplished professional, his journey radiates the values that are cherished at FLCS.
