Meet Tom Schneider

Tom Schneider grew up in Placer County and has spent most of his life in the community. In 1996, he moved to Auburn and started his own dry-cleaning business. He met Jill through work, they married and have 4 children. Jill is a homemaker and teacher to their eldest son who is Autistic. Hezekiah and Hannah attend FLCS and Trinity graduated from FLCS and is starting her second year at William Jessup University.

When he’s not hanging with his family, Tom enjoys reading, taking online classes, and coaching. Their family is starting their 13th year at FLCS. Jill helps with the PEST program and Tom has coached soccer and basketball for the school in the past. Besides owning his own business for 27 years, he has served on a Homeowners association board and, more recently, the Gold Country Youth Soccer League board. Those experiences have taught him the importance of supporting and encouraging all the staff who are doing the day-to-day work for our children at the school so it will be a safe, God-centered place for our children to attend.

Tom feels that it is essential to have a Christian school like FLCS to come alongside our children and help foster and reinforce the truth of God's word and the truth of the Gospel for their lives. This will better equip them to answer the world’s lies that are so widely accepted today. It will also help equip them for the battle they will face when they move on to the vocation to which God has called them. He is honored and humbled to be able to serve on the board and excited to see what God will continue to do through FLCS.
